Top Ten Naija Musical Video last week-Olamide, Wande Coal, Yemi Alade and Others

Happy Easter, last week was filled with many sweet and ugly news in the entertainment industry, the Ibinabo saga and the death of Nomoreloss   which was painful.
Despite the sad start to the week, we still had the music. Check out some of the best music videos released last week. 



 Olamide – Abule Sowo
Abule Sowo  I  don’t understand how he does it, every Olamide’s single is always  hit Back to Back. We wonder when the YBNL boss, Olamide, will rest. He has got no chill when it comes to putting out content for the fans. Just a week after dropping the single to mark his birthday, he followed it up swiftly with the video. He made it strictly ibile (local), shooting in the ancient city of Abeokuta where we catch a glimpse of the famous Olumo Rock. You can’t underestimate the aesthetics of the Adasa Cookey-directed video. 



Wande Coal-Superwoman 
Wande Coal – Black Diamond boss, Wande Coal  drop the visual of his music Superwoman  on March 22nd The video centres around a man who will do anything to keep his mate even if it is not legit, because she is his superwoman. Once again, Wande Coal delivers top-notch content to the delight of music lovers by going a step further with this one. The video was directed by Moe Musa.” 

Yemi Alade featuring Jeff -Kissing

Yemi Alade featuring Jeff – Africa’s leading diva Yemi Alade and Project Fame winner Jeff teams up for the remix of “Kissing”; and the duo have unleashed a Paul Gambit directed music video for the number. Yemi Alade’s have remixed “Kissing” in the past with Tanzanian music star Diamond and French tenor Marvin. This time Yemi Alade and Jeff serves a rich and arousing highlife duet produced by DJ Coublon. The track is not featured on Yemi Alade’s sophomore album “Mama Africa” which hit stores on the 25th of March, 2016. The video was released on March 22.


 DJ Spinall featuring 2Baba & Wande Coal – MONEY
 DJ Spinall featuring 2Baba & Wande Coal – MONEY. What did you expect in a video that features 2baba? the video is dheybe.  The visual tells a short story that givers never lack. If you haven’t watched it you are missing. Recently DJ Spinall   embarked on a tour in UK, despite his busy schedule, he release the video for his fan favourite “Money” featuring legendary 2Baba and Black Diamond, Wande Coal. According to source, the track is off his debut album “My Story”. The video was directed by UA Images. The video was shot in Lagos Island. The video was released on March 23.


Small Doctor featuring Olamide
 Small Doctor featuring Olamide – You Know Real Beat Planet star, Small Doctor, released the video to his latest single You Know featuring YBNL’s general, Olamide. The funny video, directed by Unlimited L.A. had a cameo from Pasuma. 


Nomoreloss- Beautiful Things
Nomoreloss – Even though he’s passed on, the music of Olumuyiwa Osinuga aka Nomoreloss will continually live on. Despite the pain and tears after his untimely passing, it is bittersweet to hear new music from him. Initially scheduled to be released this Easter, the video for ‘Beautiful Things’ by BNG was released.   The late Nomoreless did not leave without a song. Prior to his demise, he got a recording deal with Ayeesha Music. The record label released the video Beautiful Things earlier than the scheduled date.


Terry G-Shayo
Terry G – The Akpako master is back again with the visual to his “terrific” single, “Shayo“. The video which was directed by Lucas Reid showcases the artiste in his element as the song reminds you of an oldskool dancehall song, Head high by Mr Vegas .

May D – I Wanna Know
May D – I Wanna Know Confam Entertainment boss, Mr May D premiered the video to the single he released last week I Wanna Know, produced by Tyronne. The song came in an Awilo longomba style. The new video will remind you of May D’s undisputed dancing talents. Lucas Reid shot it. 


Joe el Amadi – Gbemisoke
Joe el Amadi – Gbemisoke Self.  Joe EL has released visuals to his song titled ‘Gbemisoke’, -  Joe-El Amadi had praises only for God in Gbemisoke, where he narrates the struggles of an average Nigerian. Paul Gambit directed the video.
